VDE is the German national product mark. The VDE Testing Agency and Certification Association is a subsidiary of the German Association of Electrical Engineers. It was founded in 1920. As an internationally recognized safety testing and certification agency for electronic appliances and their components, it enjoys a high reputation in Europe and even internationally.
